Best Creative Stories (WOW stories)

This year's special award will honor the best of creativity on Instagram Stories.

In addition to these categories, two specific awards will be attributed to both the Best Agency Of The Year as well as the Best Brand Of The Year for their amazing work this past year!
(Please note that no submissions will be accepted for these two categories)

Eligibility

The Snackable Content Awards is a free competition open to all individuals, companies, and organizations involved in producing any type of creative content designed for mobile & social consumption. The Snackable Content Awards are held by The Source (thesource.social).
To be eligible for Best Snackable Content (per industry), entries must be branded, and have been created after January 1, 2018 and before December 31, 2018. Video content has to be 15 seconds in length or less.
To be eligible for Best Snackable Content (per creative skill), entries must have been created after January 1, 2018 and before December 31, 2018. Video content has to be 15 seconds in length or less.
There is no limit to the number of entries you may submit or the number of categories and sub-categories you may enter.
To be eligible for Best Creator of the Year, candidates must have a profile created on The Source (this profile can be created after entering The Snackable Content Awards).
To be eligible for Best Creative Stories, entries must be branded and have been created after January 1, 2018, and before December 31, 2018. Video content has to be 15 seconds in length or less. Entries should include the Instagram Story layout.
Unacceptable materials: entries that contain pornographic material, propagate “hate” messages, make defamatory statements or that are otherwise extraordinarily offensive, are not eligible to win an award.
Disqualification: Ineligible entries and candidates may be disqualified at any phase of the competition without notification.
Acknowledgment of Entries: Entrants will receive an email acknowledging when an entry has been received and reviewed.

KEY Dates

Terms and Conditions of Entry & Usage

The Source/The Snackable Content Awards assume all entries are original and the entrant either owns the work or has permission from a client or other appropriate parties to enter the work, with all rights granted therein. In the event that an entrant without such rights submits an entry, the entrant will not be eligible for the competition. The Source/The Snackable Content Awards are not liable for any copyright infringement on the part of the entrant.
In case of winning entry/entries, the entrant acknowledges the right for The Source/The Snackable Content Awards to use the winning content for exhibitions, promotion, and publication purposes in any medium.

Snackable Content Awards Judging Process & Criteria

The Snackable Content Awards honors excellence in the creative industry as it pertains to content intended for social & mobile consumption. Winners are selected by members of the jury, a diverse group of brand and agency representatives, as well as creative professionals.
Submitted entries & leading candidates are reviewed and rated during the entry period by multiple members from The Source team. Top entries and candidates are then included in category-specific shortlists and further evaluated by the Award Jury members with category-specific expertises.
There isn't a preset number of shortlists and winners per respective category. All work is evaluated solely on its own quality, creativity, and resourcefulness. Judges base their decisions on learned perceptions of creative excellence.
Winners for the Best Snackable Content (per industry) will be selected by the industry under which they applied for. Winners for the Best Snackable Content (per creative skill) will be selected by the creative skill under which they applied for. Winners for Best Creator Of The Year will be selected by creative technique under which they applied for. Winners for Best Creative Stories will be selected among all entries.
Winners and finalists will be determined by the average score submitted by the jury. Winners will only be chosen for categories with worthy entries. The jury's decision is final and neither the organizers nor the panel will enter into any correspondence about them.
Winners and finalists will be announced on January 9, 2019.

PRIZES

Winning creatives will be broadcasted in partnership with ClearChannel on 780 digital screens in Paris, generating over 38,000,000 impressions and reaching over 6,000,000 individuals. Creations to be displayed during this exhibition will first be discussed with the winners - specific specs will be required as well as written agreement from the content owner granting appropriate rights for this outdoor exhibition.
