Laura started off her career in social media working for her favourite childhood sports team, the Vancouver Canucks. As the voice of the team, she learned the art of picking response GIFs, when to engage in brand banter, and when NOT to tweet about tacos. Since then, she has also worked at a WPP digital agency, managed e-commerce at an IoT startup, and most recently moved across the world to live in Amsterdam. She now works on global social media strategy at Booking.com, and in her spare time writes about travel and photography on her blog, Two Wild Canadians.
